Pros

  • Personable coaches
  • Clean pools
  • Excellent customer service
  • Cheap
  • Lessons for toddlers, kids, and adults

Cons

  • Short hours

You’ll find the finest swimming lessons at Emler Swim School of Dallas thanks to its personable coaches, clean pools, and budget-friendly fees. It’s on a steady path to the top of the industry.

The biggest draw of the company is its coaches, all of whom pride themselves as some of the best in the state of Texas. Due to the nature of the work, the company only employs the most personable coaches as they regularly work with toddlers and kids.

We had the pleasure of chatting with one of its staff about how the whole system works. They mentioned offers for different types of lessons for toddlers, kids, and adults — and while that may not seem exciting, the company does deliver in terms of execution!

They also mentioned that the pools are cleaned before every lesson. With the climate of the world as it is today, it’s critical to prevent the spread of common diseases, especially since it’s mostly kids that take these lessons.

One thing we absolutely adore is how cheap the lessons are. Compared to its competitors, its fees are budget friendly and affordable for anyone.

The major drawback we saw from this company, however, is the hours. Due to the nature of its schedules, you’d have to carefully plan your lessons.

Pros

  • Experienced coaches
  • Facilities are taken care of
  • Cheap lesson fees
  • Long hours
  • Fitness lessons

Cons

  • Hard to contact

If you’re looking to get into swimming for the fitness side of things, Dallas Swim has you covered. Its cheap lesson fee covers both intensive swimming training for adults and beginner lessons for kids.

We had the chance to visit the location of the lessons and talk to some of the coaches. As we toured around the gorgeous and clean facilities, we were immediately drawn to the coaches as they were all polite and friendly.

As we toured the facilities, we also witnessed some of its fitness programs and beginner lessons. We noticed how well the coaches managed the students and how they responded positively to the coaching.

While we had the coaches, we couldn’t help but ask how much each lesson costs. To our surprise, it was relatively cheap considering the facilities and equipment used for both the fitness programs and the beginner lessons.

The operating hours are also ideal, as they taught students from morning until evening. One of the coaches even mentioned lessons going past 7 PM if necessary!

And while we had the privilege to visit the site in person, we’d be lying if we said it was a breeze to contact the company. Most of our emails and calls were initially ignored, but it was smooth sailing once we got hold of one of its agents.

Pros

  • Great coaches
  • Excellent facilities
  • Amazing customer service
  • Long hours
  • Versatile lessons

Cons

  • A bit expensive

If you want to enroll your children and get them a head start in swimming, then Jim Montgomery Swim School is a fine choice. It offers swimming lessons for toddlers, kids, and adults.

It’s no secret that the coaches here are some of the best in the city. They’ve been training and working with children for a handful of years now, so you know your child’s in great hands.

We also love the facilities and overall ambiance it offers. The pools are nice and clean, and the scenery around the facility is a relaxing bonus as it’s filled with trees and greens.

Additionally, we had a pleasant conversation with one of its agents and coaches. They were both very professional and welcoming of any questions we had!

Another thing we like about the program is the schedules. The times may not be consistent, but it is open every day so you don’t have to worry about moving your appointments too much.

However, the price was a bit steep. Compared to its competitors, the school doesn’t offer any discounts which pile on to the already high enrolment fee.

Overall, we recommend Jim Montgomery Swim School. The lessons have proven to be effective and the coaches are warm and personable to the kids.

Pros

  • Great customer service
  • Consistent schedule

Cons

  • Doesn’t have its own swimming pool

Not every child is comfortable learning in a group setting. Luckily, Sunsational Swim School in Dallas offers at-home services for your children!

The first thing that stands out is the convenience of the lessons. You can call and have a professional coach in the comfort of your home to teach your kids.

In addition, there are no hiccups when it comes to availing of its services. The agents are professional and experienced and you can even get a coach within the day.

We talked to a parent that availed of its services and they mentioned how well the coaches treated their kid. According to them, it was almost like playtime for the kid as the lessons were fun and meaningful.

The school also has a consistent schedule as it offers its services Monday to Friday from 8:30 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. As parents are often busy with chores, the flexibility and long hours are life savers.

When we were browsing the services, we noticed the special needs lessons. As we know, kids should not be denied their childhood no matter what condition they’re in, so we give props to the school for its inclusion of every child in the city!

The obvious drawback to its services is the swimming pool and venue. This shouldn’t be an issue if you’re fortunate enough to have a swimming pool in your backyard.

If not, you’d have to find a local pool to swim in.

  • Professional coaches
  • Lessons for kids with autism
  • Consistent and long hours
  • Clean facilities
  • Excellent customer service

Cons

  • Expensive

Waterkids has built a reputation as one of the top swimming classes in Dallas. It has the best coaches in the city, clean facilities, excellent service, and long hours to boot!

It’s a household name that has steadily climbed and surpassed its competitors.

One of the reasons for its success is the coaching. Most of the coaches have a wealth of experience as they’ve done this for over a decade now.

In addition to the coaching, the lessons themselves have proven to be effective. One parent we talked to mentioned their kid learning how to swim in a little under 10 sessions!

The lessons are also quite inclusive as they have sessions for kids with autism. And if you’re worried about a stranger handling your kid, the coaches are professional, respectful, and patient with all their students.

As far as the venue goes, the pools are well-maintained as they make sure that they are cleaned before and after every lesson. So don’t fret, your child should be safe from germs and bacteria.

Booking an appointment is also quite a breeze. We tried calling and scheduling one for ourselves, and lo and behold, we got a scheduled lesson the following day!

The only drawback is the price as it’s quite expensive. But, that should be expected as the quality of the lessons is top-notch and your children are in great hands.
