For a fantastic night out, go to Reunion Tower. This place gives you the most amazing 360-degree views of the entire city, and let me tell you, it’s absolutely breathtaking! 

Once you hop on that elevator and ascend to the top, you’ll see this photo kiosk where you can snap some pictures and have them sent straight to your email, all for free! 

Plus, there are all sorts of interactive screens to play around with, and you can even head out to the secure outdoor deck for an even closer look at the skyline.

Majestic Theater is one of the oldest and most charming performing arts venues in Texas. 

You’ll find it on Elm Street, right in the heart of the Dallas Downtown Historic District. It’s perfectly nestled between Pacific Plaza and Main Street Garden Park.

This theater is always buzzing with activity. They have everything from concerts and comedy shows to art events and musicals. 

There’s something going on all year, so you’re bound to find something that catches your interest. The place itself is gorgeous, with plush red velvet chairs and a capacity of 1,704, ensuring everyone has a great view.

This hip bar and restaurant in the Victory Park neighborhood is a local favorite, and it’s easy to see why. The rooftop lounge has stunning views of downtown Dallas, and there are four full-service bars spread throughout the indoor and outdoor areas.

A little tip: if you don’t feel like hunting for street parking, they’ve got complimentary valet parking from Thursday to Sunday nights. Just pull up to the front door, and you’re all set.

And one more thing—Happiest Hour doesn’t take reservations, so if you want a prime seat with the best view, make sure to get there early.

4. Be part of an interactive murder mystery show at The Dinner Detective.

The Dinner Detective is an interactive murder mystery dinner theater that’ll have you laughing and guessing all night long. Located in the Main Street District on Pacific Ave., it’s super easy to find—just a block north of that giant eyeball sculpture, Eye.

The show is held on weekends and some holidays, and it’s not just about watching actors perform. You get to be part of the action, too! 

You’ll enjoy a delicious 4-course plated dinner with some really tasty options like Texas honey and sage glazed chicken breast, bourbon cherry bouchons, and even a vegan surf and turf. 

The actors are fantastic, but the audience gets involved too, and there’s a cool prize for whoever figures out the mystery first.

5. Experience the spooky side of Dallas on a haunted walking tour with Nightly Spirits Ghost Tours.

Dallas has a rich history full of notorious events like the JFK assassination and some seriously old buildings from the Wild West era, making it a hotspot for haunted ghost tours.

There are a few tour companies to choose from, but Nightly Spirits is a great pick. They offer nightly walking tours and even haunted pub crawls through the downtown historic district. 

It’s a great way to spend 2–2.5 hours roaming the streets while listening to ghost stories from expert ghost hunters. Just make sure you sign up in advance!

6. Prepare to laugh the night away at the Dallas Comedy Club.

If you want a mix of good laughs, good food, and a great atmosphere, Dallas Comedy Club in Deep Ellum is where you need to be!

This place is a blast and perfect for a night of laughs. They’ve got something going on almost every night, from improv and sketch shows to storytelling and even family-friendly performances.

Feeling brave? Swing by on a Wednesday or Sunday for their open mic nights—it’s prime time for catching some fresh talent. 

And if you’re up for something really fun, try the open jam sessions late on Wednesday nights or Sunday afternoons. It’s an excellent opportunity to see some spontaneous comedy magic.

Plus, the food there is impressive! Whether you’re grabbing a drink at the bar after dinner or coming hungry, their menu won’t disappoint. 

Think tasty tacos and stir-fry that’ll hit the spot.

7. Spend the night listening to live music at House of Blues Dallas.

You’ll find House of Blues right at the corner of Broom St. and Lamar St., an awesome spot where you can grab some delicious food and catch high-energy rock and blues performances from top-notch musicians. 

If you’re planning to see a show, it’s a good idea to snag your ticket online ahead of time. But if you’re more spontaneous, you can always hit up the box office, which opens a couple of hours before any event. 

8. Dine at a hip restaurant in Trinity Groves.

Trinity Groves is one of the coolest dining spots in the city, with a bunch of restaurants housed in these super trendy, converted warehouses. You can find everything from amazing seafood and local BBQ to some killer Asian fusion.

After you’ve had your fill, go to the Ronald Kirk Footbridge—it’s right over the Trinity River and offers stunning views of the river and the city skyline. It’s a perfect way to cap off your evening.

9. Be a king or queen’s noble guest at Medieval Times Dallas.

Medieval Times is such a unique experience where you get to feel like royalty for the evening. 

As you walk into this grand, castle-style building, you’re immediately transported back in time. They really go all out, serving you a delicious four-course meal with plenty of drinks to go around.

The best part, though, is the show. You get to cheer on knights as they duel it out with swords, ride horses, and even show off some impressive falconry. 

Trust me, after a few rounds of mead or ale, you’ll forget this is something that’s typically thought of as a kids’ event.

10. Watch a basketball or ice hockey game at the American Airlines Center.

American Airlines Center is a big deal here in Texas; it’s where our Dallas Mavericks (NBA) and Dallas Stars (NHL) play. So, if you’re into basketball or ice hockey, you’re in luck because it’s the only spot in town for top-tier action.

With each team playing at least 41 home games a year, there’s a good chance you’ll catch a game during your visit. 

But even if there’s no game on, don’t worry! The American Airlines Center also hosts a ton of other events and concerts.

Cidercade Dallas is this spot where they’ve taken the classic arcade vibe and made it perfect for grown-ups to have some fun and reminisce. 

Imagine over 170 traditional arcade and pinball machines all in one place! Plus, they’ve got a cider and wine bar, so you can sip on some great drinks while you play. 

12. Enjoy prime-time football at AT&T Stadium.

If you’re ever in Dallas at night, catching prime-time football at AT&T Stadium is a must-do. This massive stadium in nearby Arlington has a retractable roof and can hold over 108,000 fans, making it one of the largest stadiums in the U.S.

It’s the home of the Dallas Cowboys, one of the NFL’s most popular teams, and the atmosphere during a game is absolutely electric. 

Besides football, AT&T Stadium regularly hosts other major sporting events and concerts, so there’s always something happening.

And here’s a tip: if you really want to get a feel for the place, take one of those stadium tours. They’ll show you everything, from the radio box, press boxes, private suites, and more.
