At Underdog Kennels, they provide the safest dog daycare in Dallas and come veterinarian recommended! Their trained staff ensures that every dog enjoys a structured, fun-filled day with plenty of playtime and a couple of nap breaks in private rooms to keep everyone healthy and in good spirits.
They offer over 18,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor play areas, with multiple yards featuring artificial turf and shade structures to protect from the Texas sun. On warm days over 80 degrees, they even create a splash park with wading pools for water-loving pups!

Pros
- Open seven days a week
- Dedicated parking spaces for customers
- Friendly and attentive staff
- Doesn’t discriminate against large dog breeds
Cons
- Dog kennels sometimes have a pungent odor
The first and most notable thing about Smart Dog Dallas is that they’re one of the most inclusive places we’ve worked with so far. They don’t discriminate against other dog breeds; additionally, they work with dogs of all shapes and sizes.
As long as they have the right temperament, that is.
We’ve talked to their personnel and we find them cheerful and attentive on the phone. They can help you get your little furbaby an appointment for a fun-filled afternoon at their dog daycare.
They’re also quite open to answering your questions or inquiries – whatever they may be.
Navigating to their facility is quite easy. You can drive or take the bus over and you won’t have trouble locating their storefront.
They also have parking spaces available outside, so you don’t have to worry about parking too far down the road.
We love how organized and clean the entire daycare is: from the lobby down to the dog kennels. We also appreciate how attentive and caring the staff is to the dogs in the facility.
Your dog is given lots of food, toys, and love when they visit Smart Dog Dallas. Still, some clients haven’t been all that impressed by this company’s services.
According to one of our survey participants, there are days when the kennels smell strongly of dog urine and feces. Thankfully, they never smelled that way when we were there.
However, if some clients have experienced this situation, it’s probably ideal that the facility does something about it ASAP.

Pros
- 20+ years of experience
- Live webcam feed that you can watch on mobile
- Accessible and clean facilities
- Open seven days a week
Cons
- Expensive
- Can’t always accommodate bigger dogs
Camp Bow Wow isn’t the biggest dog daycare, making it a perfect choice for smaller dog breeds. They’ve been in business since 2001, which makes us believe they’re one of the most experienced providers in the city.
Their facility is quite accessible to pet owners all over Dallas. You can ride the bus or drive your car to the facility and not have trouble finding the daycare, since it’s visible from the main road.
For particularly fussy pet owners, you don’t have to worry about not knowing what your pet is doing while you’re away. Camp Bow Wow has web cams recording your fur baby’s every move while they’re under the facility’s care.
You can access this video feed on your phone or laptop whenever you wish. That way you can also monitor your pet’s well-being the whole time.
Food, water, and toys are available to your dogs at all times. There’s also an in-house trainer available to teach your dogs tricks to wow the crowd back home.
While Camp Bow Wow is truly an amazing place to leave your dog for the day, they’re also quite expensive.
An entire day at their facility can cost a little over $20 – which is more than what you’d spend in other facilities. If you’re on a tight budget, you might want to check out other providers on this list.

Pros
- Great place to hold events
- Gives pet owners regular pet “report cards”
- Provides customers with live feeds of their dogs online
Cons
- Can sometimes smell unclean or pungent
Looking for a facility that keeps you in the loop at all times? Dog City offers a variety of ways pet owners can keep track of their little fur babies, even while they’re away doing chores.
Fur parents can watch their pets through the live online feed Dog City provides its clients. On top of that, you will also receive daily “report cards” from their staff.
This updates you on your pet’s behavior in the facility, as well as their fondness for certain activities and games.
Snacks and toys are always available for your dogs. So, you never have to worry about your pet going hungry while you’re away picking up groceries.
Dog City is a wonderful place to hold events for your dogs – and yes – this includes birthday parties. Dog City has hosted dozens of events and almost all of them were successful.
There were some that caused customers to complain about certain aspects of the facility, especially when it came to its cleanliness and smell.
Luckily, we never encountered this type of situation during any of our visits. On the contrary, they were always quite clean and fresh-smelling when we were there.
Still, it pays to be careful when it comes to this sort of thing. Thus, we highly recommend you drop in for a trial before making a full commitment to the facility.

Pros
- Open seven days a week
- Professionally trained staff
- Controlled playgroups
- Dedicated caretakers for each playgroup
Cons
- Expensive
This next facility has been around since 2016 – not as long as the other providers; however, they’re currently one of the most popular and most reliable dog daycare facilities in the city.
They have both indoor and outdoor play areas; perfect for pet parents who are particular about where they want their pets to play.
On top of that, they also have professionally-trained staff monitoring the pets for safety. Dog parents never have to worry about their pets getting bullied by other dogs.
While there have been minor cases of aggression between dogs from time to time, fights are always dispersed as soon as they are spotted. So you don’t have to worry about your dogs acquiring major injuries during their stay at the daycare.
Pets are placed in playgroups of 15 dogs. This makes it easier for caretakers to keep track of everyone in the group.
Everything about this dog daycare is absolutely amazing, from the lobby to the kennels. Unfortunately, there is a catch to their great services.
A day at Paw Lofts can cost almost $30 – which is a lot of money, even for our tastes. It would be nice if they offered discounts for first-time customers.
It would make it much more enticing to go, despite the high prices.
